The 2nd Oundle Scout Group meet during school terms at The Joan Strong Centre on East Road in Oundle.

Beaver Scouts

Beavers are the youngest section of the Scout Movement and are between 6 and 8 years old. They meet in groups of up to 24 called a Colony. Within the Colony, Beavers are usually split into smaller groups called Lodges for various activities and games. Beavers meet Thursdays from 5pm to 6.15pm at The Joan Strong Centre.


Cubs are aged between 8 and 10 3/4 years old. They meet in groups of up to 36 called a Pack. For activities and games the Pack is split in Sixes with older Cubs called Sixers and Seconders supporting the younger Cubs. Cubs meet Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8pm at The Joan Strong Centre.


Scouts are aged between 10 1/2 and 14 1/2 years old. Scouts meet in a group called a Troop and for activities and games the Troop is split into Patrols led by older Scouts called Patrol Leaders (PL) and Assistant Patrol Leaders (APL). All Patrols are supported by an older Scout called a Senior Patrol Leader (SPL). Scouts meet Mondays from 7pm to 9pm at The Joan Strong Centre.
