We are a very fast-growing service industry business located just outside Oundle in PE8 and are on the look-out for a confident and friendly individual who can take on the role of credit control administrator and work closely with book keeping to help to keep payments, invoicing and cash-flow under control. The position could suit someone with school run duties and we can work around that if needed, but most importantly you must have the required skills to be considered (see below).

* Knowledge of Quickbooks would be beneficial but not essential as long as the candidate has worked on similar software previously
* Must have good PC skills - excel especially
* Confidence to make debt recovery phone calls
* Attention to detail
* Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
* Initially 3 days a week

* To raise sales invoices accurately across the different brands of the company; attention to detail is a must
* To take credit card payments from customers on completion of jobs
* To keep on top of what payments need to be taken each day and make sure that they are
* Allocate credit card payment receipts to invoices
* Issuing refunds and credit notes when required
* Debt recovery for invoices due for payment by telephone/email – setting up and following through a system
* Liaising with the bookkeeper/accountant
* Monthly meeting with Managing Director to discuss current situation on debtors
* Dealing with external debt collection agency when required
