Oundle School is opening a new dual-use sports centre including a multiple workstation fitness-suite, a 50-metre swimming pool, 8 court sports hall and 4 studios, which will be accessed by 1220 pupils, members and general public use.
Starting in September 2019, we are seeking a full time Duty Manager who will lead the operational shift team and be responsible for the day-to-day professional and efficient facility management of the Centre. Part time roles will also available. Initially the role will encompass Duty Management at the existing sports centre and swimming pool, whilst the new building is completed.
During each shift the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of all activity, standard of service and customer interaction, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and quality.
As an independent centre we a seeking a confident, customer focused, professional leisure manager who is capable of developing a new team, motivating and leading staff and a shift team. You will be adept at implementing new processes and developing new ideas, opportunities and business.
Although operational, the Duty Manager will carry business development and budget responsibilities. While experience is essential as a new position in a new business you will receive extensive training.
Applicants must demonstrate their initiative and confidence to communicate professionally with staff and customers alike and ability to respond appropriately to any issues and emergency situations quickly and efficiently.
