The School have an exciting opportunity arise for Gardeners / Groundstaff to join the dedicated team who are responsible for keeping the grounds and gardens in peak condition all year round. The appointed candidates will undertake preparation and maintenance duties under the control of supervisor to provide first class sports facilities and amenity areas. The individuals will have a valid driving licence, along with experience of using and handling light equipment and machinery when it comes to garden and ground maintenance.
Oundle School is one of the country’s leading co-educational boarding and day schools, with 860 boarding and 250 day pupils. A further 250 day pupils attend Laxton Junior School. The School is spread throughout the historic town of Oundle, which owns and maintains extensive grounds, gardens and sports surfaces, which are fully used throughout the year.
£19,635 per annum. Hours of duty are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with one 30 minute paid meal break and one 30 minute unpaid meal break daily (40 paid hours per week). The role involves seasonal overtime requirements which will be based on a rota and may include evening and weekend work.
