Oundle School is one of the country’s premier co-educational boarding and day schools, with 860 boarding and 250 day pupils. The School is spread throughout the historic town of Oundle, which is situated approximately 12 miles from Peterborough.

The Science Department offers pupils the opportunity to discover the thrill of scientific exploration and discovery, as well as the chance to observe how science works first hand. This is achieved by inspiring pupils with enthusiasm for science through an exciting and relevant curriculum, taught in the multi million pound award-winning SciTec complex, which was opened in 2007.

To start on the 29th August 2019, we are seeking a Science Technician with strong organisation skills and experience of using equipment such as dissection, microscopes and spirometers. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to day running of the technical support and prep room(s) so organisation is key.

Applicants must have GCSEs at grade A-C, and a HND or OND or equivalent (e.g. relevant A level), or equivalent experience, whilst also being open to learn new skills along the way.

£12,802 per annum | 26.5 hours per week, 36.4 working weeks
