The Association’s aim is to care for the interests of the community and the commercial well being of Oundle and its surrounding villages. This is done by encouraging networking and trade between member businesses and also by promoting best practice, relaying business related news and encouraging inward investment to the town.
The Association (formerly known as Oundle & District Association of Trade and Commerce) has been in existence in various forms for over 50 years. For a long time the membership was mainly made up of local shop owners and traders, however these days there are a diverse range of members from numerous types of local small businesses. The Association provide a common platform for the discussion of issues which affect the business community. The main vehicle for this is the monthly social networking meeting held at 6pm on or around the first Wednesday of each month, at the premises of one of our member businesses.
More information including details of events and the next monthly social and networking meeting can be found on the Association’s website.
