Oundle Parish Church. Exists to serve and share God’s good news with all who live here.

As a church family, we hope and pray that all:

KNOW God’s love in your hearts.
LIVE in response to God’s love as disciples of Jesus.
GIVE God’s love to others in word and deed.

The church strives to:

Faithfully teach God’s Word.
Make disciples of Jesus at every age and stage
Prepare everyone to participate in God’s mission
To care for the lost, the last, and the least.
Live as God’s family, sharing joys and sorrows
Offer breadth and sincerity in worship

This is a family of Christians of all ages who love to welcome new people. Faith in God’s infinite grace underlies all we strive to be as we pray, laugh, worship, eat, learn, cry, and grow together.

Faith in God as Father, Son and Spirit, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is central to all we seek to share with others.

This just gives you an idea of what we value at St. Peter’s. The best way to find out what is truly important to us is to come and meet us. We’d love to meet you and get to know you!

St Peter’s has formulated goals to work on over the next five years:

Because we love Jesus and want others to know Him, we are prayerfully working on:

GROWING DEEPER.
Each member of the church family will grow as disciples of Jesus and grow in their relationships with one another. We prayerfully expect 70% of our voter rolls to belong to small groups within the church.

PRAYING FREQUENTLY.
We will be a church family whose first impulse is to pray because we know we depend on God. A community where prayer meetings matter and prayer happens naturally, habitually, and all the time. We prayerfully expect that 50% of our constituents attend semester-long prayer meetings.

MOVING OUTWARD.
Every member of the church family will seek to lovingly reach out to our community and beyond. We will be an active presence outside the walls of our church in Oundle. We prayerfully hope to be a refuge for those in need, doing our best in loving action.

GETTING BIGGER.
Each member of the church family will pray for their friends to know Jesus and be willing to share their faith. We prayerfully expect to see 200 new followers of Jesus.

INCREASED CAPACITY.
All activities at St. Peter’s will be well-funded and coordinated by a team of paid and volunteer workers. We prayerfully hope to increase the capacity of the office team and create a team of regional ministry leaders.

EATING TOGETHER.
Every member of the church family will understand that hospitality and eating together are at the core of living and believing together. We prayerfully hope to build a new kitchen in the church building.
